Stronger Together
At Nexus People we are aware of our obligations to the working population at large to ensure that any form of slavery is eradicated and removed from any wider supply chain. Everyone within our organisation and our trading partners has a responsibility to ensure that human rights are protected to ensure that any abuse in the form of slavery is acted upon and reported accordingly.
Nexus have now engaged with Stronger Together to support our employees in dealing with Modern Day Slavery.
Stronger Together is a multi-stakeholder initiative aiming to reduce modern slavery, particularly hidden forced labour, labour trafficking and other third party exploitation of workers. They provide guidance, resources and a network for employers, labour providers, workers and their representatives to work together to reduce exploitation.
Agency Recruitment Power 100
Nexus was named top social influencer in the Agency Recruitment Power 100 (ARP100). The award was the first of its kind in the sector and measured agency influence across social media channels.
Nexus won the coveted title against tough competition across the sector.
Judges used a Klout powered algorithm to measure the number of followers, retweets, unique mentions and how influential followers are. At Nexus we understand the importance of social media in reaching out to potential clients and engaging our current ones.

The Association of Labour Providers (ALP) is the specialist trade association promoting responsible recruitment for labour providers. ALP represents and supports its members to ensure that the provision, use and management of labour in our sectors is recognised as a model of good practice.

Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC)
The Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) is the professional body for UK recruitment businesses. The REC work tirelessly to support members in helping businesses find the people they need, while improving the standards and reputation of our industry. The REC is a not-for-profit organisation governed by an elected council of recruitment industry representatives.
REC members are UK-based recruitment agencies, spanning from large organisations right down to sole traders. Freight Transport Association (FTA)
Freight Transport Association (FTA) is one of the UK’s largest trade associations and represents the transport interests of companies moving goods by road, rail, sea and air.
Boasting a rich heritage, FTA has been supporting the interests of the transport industry since 1889.
FTA specialises in delivering safe, sustainable and efficient logistics by representing the needs of the logistics industry at local, national and European level. FTA’s campaigns raise awareness of the logistics industry whilst also informing and preparing our members about the latest compliance requirements. Our training schemes improve the skills and knowledge of drivers and managers in the industry.
